Course overview
A foundational leadership programme designed to ignite leadership potential among emerging leaders. Participants will build essential skills to lead with confidence, foster teamwork, and develop a deeper understanding of their role in contributing to the organisation’s success.
Format
Four interactive, facilitated workshop sessions (four hours per session)
- Blends practical activities, group discussion, and reflective learning
- Focuses on real workplace scenarios and immediate application
- Includes between-session reflection or light practical tasks to embed learning into day-to-day practice
- Encourages peer learning in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Learning outcomes
- Understand the fundamentals of leadership vs. Management.
- Build essential communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Gain confidence in handling day-to-day challenges and supporting their team.
- Develop personal insight into their leadership style and areas for growth.
- Feel motivated and prepared to take on more responsibility or progress to formal leadership roles.
Who should attend
Primarily aimed at Band 3–5/6 staff. However, it is also open to anyone who feels the content would support their development and help them grow in confidence or capability.
