Course overview
For staff who have completed Making Every Contact Count (MECC) training who wish to refresh and update their knowledge and skills and network with other learners. The length and duration of each session can be flexible.
Format
This can be adapted according to commissioning and learner priorities. These are typically facilitated online sessions with up to 50 participants.
The sessions may include the following:
- Presentationsby external speaker on a MECC-related subject
- Learnerssharing how they have applied MECC in practice
- Groupdiscussion and problem solving of challenges in practice
- Casestudies
- Demonstrationof practice (live or video)
- Skillspractice and feedback
- Quizzesor focussed refresher activities.

Who should attend
Any person who has completed MECC training and is keen to maintain and refresh their knowledge and skills and embed this learning in practice.
Cost per session
Pre-training requirement
Participants will have completed a half day MECC training with us over the previous year so that they are already familiar with the MECC framework.
